We first heard about B&D Duval Builders through friends. At the time, we were considering the idea of purchasing a property with a reasonable sized backyard, and add a garden cottage, to take advantage of new government legislation. We approached the Duval Company and were struck by their friendliness and know-how of the building industry. It became obvious that they were capable of looking after all aspects of our property investment and the construction of a modern, two-bedroom cottage.

Whilst the construction was underway, under the leadership of Brett Duval, we were impressed by his organisation, planning and constant consultation; he included us in all facets of the project. Deadlines were strictly adhered to and the cottage was completed, ready for occupancy, in just over six weeks. In fact, it was in such demand that it was leased some weeks before completion.

We are ecstatic with the finished product, which came in right on budget. We are now earning $700 per week on our investment (house + garden cottage).

Disaster struck when I found white ants had ravished the timbers, shock horror, what was I going to do?

It was early 1990"s when I was recommended to contact B. & D. Duval – Builders.

I was very emotional and apprehensive at the thought of builders coming into my home and tearing it apart. My fears were soon put to rest when the team arrived. Two bedrooms, lounge and hall all had to be gutted, new timbers replaced and put back to-gether again. B. & D. Duval were so considerate, supportive, clean and tidy while working that I was able to stay living in the house during the whole procedure.

I was impressed at their eye for detail, honesty and integrity, communication and trust is the key to the success of this business.
After I recovered from the white ant damage I went onto having a studio granny flat built, painting and wood rot repairs carried out. Twenty years have passed, good reliable, honest, clean service I would not have any other tradesmen on site.
